The QD2 3.75 Alpha is a performance fin set made in the USA. Alpha fins are made with an exclusive composite that is carbon and air infused and lighter than Honeycomb. They fall into the Balanced category on the Ride Number scale making them a great all around choice, because they provide enough spring to make it around sections while still maintaining some predictability and hold. Symmetrical foil rear fins on quads give a fluid consistent feeling that is predictable in all conditions, and is enhanced on quads when the rear fins are placed closely together. Made in California, the Alpha product line is now made by incorporating Bureo’s NetPlus recycled fishing nets with Futures’ compound 6 Carbon and Air infused technology. NetPlus material is sourced from Bureo’s fishing net recycling program in Chile, which provides collection points to keep plastic fishing nets out of our oceans. Preventing harmful materials from entering the ocean, their program protects wildlife and supports local fishing communities through financial incentives.
